This morning (7/16/06) when I went to open the blinds on the door to our deck, I was startled by an explosion of feathers as bird flew suddenly away from our deck's railing. I quickly noticed another bird was sitting in Umah's planter, nestled snugly in between shoots of a mint plant. I just had enough time to grab my camera, as the future mama bird decided that it was a good idea to head off too.
As you'll notice from my picture subtitles, the procession of images was fairly reminiscent of an airplane taking off. These pictures are in order, try viewing them as a slideshow to see a stop motion of the bird in action.
And she's outta here.
And she's outta here.
