Made famous by the first Tomb Raider movie, Angkor Wat is a sprawling collection of ancient Khmer-style temples in Angkor, Cambodia, built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Though I tried to be especially thorough with my old Canon, I'm not sure I effectively captured the amazing size and grandeur of the many, many temples that actually comprise Angkor Wat. If you are planning a visit, I don't think it is possible to see it all and appreciate it in less than a week.
