Melacca is a city full of Malaysian history. You can still see the influence of colonial times in buildings such as the Christ Church Melaka (built in 1753). At one point in history, this city was a major hub of international commerce.

The Lake Gardens, as the name indicates is a large garden area, full of dinosaur-shaped bushes, colorful plant life and a butterfly garden.
