It had been a long time since I was in Seattle when I returned in first week of June 2006, and I planned to make the most of it. In my prior visit, my camera was just something heavy I had in my pocket to snap a quick picture of a few of my favorite places in between outings with friends. The result of this is many good memories but few good pictures. I'm happy to say that I didn't make the same mistake.
One of the things I think I very conspicuously missing from the previous gallery is beautiful skyline. I'm a skyscraper junkie, as you'll very quickly notice. If you're not a fan of skyscrapers, don't tune out just yet. There are other interesting pictures here, including the lucky pictures I got of 3 sea lions sunning themselves on a buoy in Eliot Bay, the Pike's Place Fish Market (and the worlds first Starbucks next door), the "Sleepless in Seattle" house boat, a heron, and some random Kayakers. (This gallery is pretty big, I recommend trying out the slide show option.)
The Pike Place Public Market at night. For those of you who read the famous business book "Fish!", the stall just below the 'E' and the 'N' in the word "Center" is where they throw the fish around.
