This morning (7/16/06) when I went to open the blinds on the door to our deck, I was startled by an explosion of feathers as bird flew suddenly away from our deck's railing. I quickly noticed another bird was sitting in Umah's planter, nestled snugly in between shoots of a mint plant. I just had enough time to grab my camera, as the future mama bird decided that it was a good idea to head off too. As you'll notice from my picture subtitles, the procession of images was fairly reminiscent of an airplane taking off.
